Dalat is such a neat place. It is a cool place to come with some friends as it is quite lonely to be sitting in a cafe all alone, when everyone else is in groups. It is 9pm now and I see loads of people standing at the town central talking, eating or kicking around a shuttle cock thingy or hacky sack. People in Vietnam seems to like sitting around outside the park or at their doorway just chatting to their neighbours or watching people. With the weather being in the 15 degrees Celsius and a lake in the middle of town, Dalat is a good place to chill out and has the nickname 'City of Eternal Spring' or City of flowers.
Also, met up with some of the people from the city tour and had a nice meal together. Since we were made up of a motley crew, French, Japanese, Australian, Malaysian, communication was sometimes difficult. I had a great time and joined them for a cup of coffee. Also, joined the local Catholic church for a mass in Vietnamese. Couldn't understand a word they said except Amen. So be it.

Hi Jason,
I have posted a comment on 22 Oct'04 posting as your posting for 29 Oct'04 wasn't here earlier on. Hope you can take a look.

Hope you have a great time so far! So glad you are not near the south of Thailand where there's unrest with the muslims. Well, just be careful wherever you are. Recently, food was not properly done in Bedok Central Hawker and a few people even have to stay in the hospital, one old folk even passed away. I'm thinking the food might be handled worse over at where you are now but I believe you have a tough stomach.
I hope my book has been keeping you acompany and you may say there's alot of rubbish in there. Well, hope you can share with me what you think. I thought the author was quite clever in playing with facts.
It has been raining in Singapore past few days, quite wet, and we gona have our 1st century service at East Coast Park tomorrow. Pray it won't rain. BTW, we finally gona have our first service at our new church building next sunday! Tell you, the building is fantastic! I went there to do some network cabling and got to see the building first hand, everything is wonderful. Hope you can be here soon.
